Anastasia Kmetova
1933–2021

Anastasia Kmetova was born in 1933 in the village of Lesicharka, Gabrovo region. She studied at the Music School in Plovdiv. She graduated in Ceramics (1960) at the Academy of Arts in the class of Prof. Stoyan Raynov. She worked in the field of monumental-decorative and small-scale ceramics. She resided in Plovdiv during her creative career. She worked on over 50 monumental ceramic compositions throughout the country. There have been seven solo exhibitions of her work in Plovdiv, she exhibited in France, Germany, and Finland, as well as participating in national group art exhibitions in Turkey, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Moldova, etc. Her works are part of the collections of national and foreign galleries and private collections. Anastasia Kmetova passed away in 2021.
